General Staedert was the commander of the space arm of the Federated Army. He was aboard his flagship in orbit around Jupiter to observe the triple planetary eclipse, which is why he was the first to face the manifestation of Evil and was unfortunately killed in battle against this terrifying new enemy.

Biography[]
When Father Vito Cornelius conveyed information and warnings regarding the terrifying nature of the Evil to President Lindberg at the President's Headquarters in Manhattan. At the same time, one of the Federated Army's warships under the command of General Staedert was first seen flying towards where Evil had appeared around Jupiter's orbit, and after deploying a probe, which incidentally gave the Evil the ability to communicate, attempted to destroy it with the ship's missiles, much to Vito Cornelius’s warnings and protests which fell on deaf ears.
The attack ultimately failed, and even caused the planet's body to grow much larger. General Staedert was asked by the president if he had destroyed the Evil, to which the General replied that he was about to. Further missile barrage also had no effect on the Evil, which also managed provoked the entity even further and causing it to move towards the Earth warship standing in its way, intending to swat them away like annoyances.
This causes General Staedert to become fearful, shocked and deathly afraid to order a retreat, despite President Lindberg himself screaming at him to get away. General Staedert’s flagship along with General Staedert himself was ultimately destroyed during the incident.
