Professor Mactilburgh was the chief scientist at the Manhattan Nucleo Labs in 2263.
Biography[]
He was an eager and bright man who relished the opportunity to study what he thought was a Mondoshawan when General Munro brought him a severed hand from the crash site of the Mondoshawan spaceship; the only "survivor." He rebuilt the alien's body cell by cell in a machine, only to discover that it was in fact the perfect being, the Fifth Element from the prophecy of the 50th-Level Parish, Leeloo, a gorgeous young humanlike woman, who promptly knocked out Munro and escaped, and leaving a breathless Mactilburgh behind who was absolutely stunned by her perfection.
Later, after Leeloo and Korben Dallas destroyed Evil and saved the universe, Mactilburgh oversaw their recovery - and allowed them to have a private "recovery" in his rejuvenation chamber where they made love while a nervous Mactilburgh tried to stop President Lindberg from interrupting them.
